Prayer for the Day - 10/31/09

I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ-Philemon 1:6

Heavenly Father, we come to you with humble hearts and open minds to give thanks for another day of your grace and mercy. Thank you father that we woke up in our right minds, and with the use of all our limbs. We thank you for protecting our homes as we slept last night. Father bless this world as a whole. Protect our children as they are getting prepared to return to school. Surround them around positive people and things. Thank you Father for letting no hurt, harm or danger befall upon us or our families. We give thanks for our jobs. Bless those that don't have a job or who just lost their jobs. Father, as we have so much to be thankful for. If we had a thousand tongues, it still wouldn't be enough to say Thank You. Lord, continue to bless those who are less fortunate than us. For we all know that you can make a way out of no way. Strengthen our hearts and minds. As we grow closer to you, prepare us to fight off the enemy when he tries to attack us or our families. Help us Lord to read, apply and comprehend your word and when we don't understand, help us to understand. Lord, help us to continue to build each other up when we feel down. Lord, bless the sick and shut in, hospitals, nursing homes, prisons, the homeless, prostitutes, drug/alcohol addicts. Father, thank you for the ultimate sacrifice of your son so that we can have eternal life. In everything we do we say, THANK YOU!!

When the praise goes up, the BLESSINGS comes down. Don't forget today, to give praise for EVERYTHING!!
