Prayer for the Day - 9/10/09

…All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, GOD opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble-1 Peter 5:5

Father in heaven, bless us as we strive to better our relationship with you. Father, we thank you for waking us up this morning to receive another day of your grace and mercy. Father, continue to bless those in our lives for a reason and a season. We give thanks for protecting our families as we slept and keeping all dangers at bay.

Father, someone didn't wake up this morning, but, we are so GLAD that WE did. Thank you for our jobs and finances, health and life. Help us Lord, not to take anything or anyone for granted. Continue to help us fight off anything that the enemy tries to throw our way. WE break all strongholds over our lives, our children, spouses, jobs, life, health, finances. Lord, we thank you for dying on the cross to save sinners like us. For we know, that we are saved by GRACE.

Today Lord someone is feeling really troubled, help lift them up in your name. For we put your name on high. ALL the GLORY goes to you Father, because, you love us unconditionally. Trouble don't last always, and we know that we have to go through some storms and tribulations to appreciate all the wondrous things you do for us. Let us not forget what you are really all about. Father, continue to bless the believers and the non believers. Create in them a pure heart and mind.

Father, we thank you for blessing us in ways that we could never imagine. If it had not been for you on our side, where would we be. Father, continue to bless those who are sick. For they are healed by your stripes. If we had 1,000 tongues, it wouldn't be enough to say THANK YOU. We appreciate and love you with all our hearts. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
